Plans for the Inaugural World Golf Expo (WGE), a brand-new hybrid golf business extravaganza has kicked into high gear.

Work is progressing well as the multi-faceted event gets ready for its staging in Haikou, the capital city of Hainan. The show dates are March 16 – 18, 2021.

“An exciting programme that looks into the future of golf is taking shape and it already promises to be an event that no serious golf business executive can afford to miss,” said Mike Sebastian, CEO of the Asia Pacific Golf Group (APGG) and co-organiser of WGE. This global event is being co-organised with the giant Mission Hills Group of China, operator of the world’s largest golf resort.

“We are excited to host WGE in Hainan and it is our expressed hope to develop Haikou as the hub of golf in the Asia Pacific going forward, “said Tenniel Chu, Group vice-chairman of Mission Hills and the chairman of the organising committee of WGE.

Details will be announced over the next few weeks and to keep abreast with developments of WGE.
